Fighter’s Only magazine has taken the MMA world by storm since it’s in debut in the UK.  The magazine’s editorial content is the most well thought out in a very crowded newsstand.  Last month, the powerhouse publishing brand celebrated the release of it’s 50th issue.  Managing Director Rob Hewitt, a friend of FYT,  said at the time, “Reaching our 50th Issue is a landmark for us and our growth and continued success is down to both the hard work of our staff and the innovative approach that we’ve taken to our subject matter. We set out to break the mold in which combat sports were represented in print and 50 issues later we’re still evolving. Our aim has always been the same though – to provide our readers with high quality coverage of the MMA sport, industry and lifestyle.”

Well, Rob and his team have clearly succeeded in their goals- and their success is something FYT has admired and hope to emulate.  These guys are the real deal.

Fighters Only was launched in February 2005- it’s now on sale in 13 countries. They recently launched dedicated US, Canadian and German editions to satisfy regional demand from overseas fans. At the beginning of 2009 Fighters Only amended their print schedule to allow them to produce 13 magazines a year instead of 12 to cope with demand from the domestic market.  So while other magazines, especially music mags continue to dissapear, these guys continue to grow.  Let’s repeat that: While pundits predict the end of print publishing- magazine’s like Fighters Only buck the trend and actually GROW.

We love the mag so much, that with the introduction of it in the US and Canadian markets earlier this year, FYT  jumped right on board.
